Cary Q Wines Amador County Mourvedre Shake Ridge Ranch Hollis 2022 NO20231101 twelve months on lees andWinemaker Cary Quintana sources grapes from Shake Ridge Rancha remote 1,800 foot elevation vineyard in Amador County's Sierra foothills. Her 2022 "Hollis" Mourvdre, farmed organically and vinified with minimal intervention, bursts with ripe blackberry, pink peppercorn, and earthy leather alongside gamey, meaty complexity. The lean, structured backbone ensures this savory, wild expression ages gracefully and pairs beautifully with bold cuisine.
