Aromas of blackberry and liquorice merge into earth, vanillin cedar and spice. Medium weight, rich blackberry, liquorice and plum flavours sit over vanillin oak, earth and spice. Dryish tannins along with bright acidity give the back palate a slightly chalky feel. Medium length aftertaste. Cellar 5 6 years. Alc. 14. 5%
